Paul Pittman and Eric Sarff have been pretty busy lately. In addition to their day jobs, the two have taken time to conduct lengthy interviews with some of agriculture’s biggest podcasts.
Paul, the Executive Chairman of Farmland Partners, recently sat down with Modern Acre, a podcast managed by Tim and Tyler Nuss. The brothers are part of a fifth-generation family farm in California, and they regularly speak with agricultural business leaders and entrepreneurs to learn about their stories and outlook for the future.
During their interview, Paul and the brothers touched on everything from sustainability to Paul’s career path to the top.
Paul was also featured on the popular The Business of Agriculture podcast hosted by Damian Mason. During their conversation, the two dug into the business of farmland investing and explored questions that many farmers are asking. Who’s buying America’s farms and why are they doing so? Is farmland still a good investment? Are institutional investors keeping farmers from expanding ownership?
Not long after, Eric, the President of FPI’s brokerage and auction arm, Murray Wise Associates, visited with the Successful Farming podcast. Their talk was a deep dive into farmland values, including what drives values in the countryside and what’s going on in the current market.
